Will it buff out?

Paint imperfections such as swirl marks, oxidation, water spots, holograms, micro-scratches, and even light gouges can dramatically affect your vehicle’s appearance. With our professional paint correction service, many of these flaws can be significantly reduced or completely removed, restoring depth, gloss, and clarity to your finish.

At Clover Detail, we approach every correction with precision and restraint. Because paint correction involves leveling the clear coat, we never recommend unnecessary buffing — only what’s needed to achieve the best and safest results.

Once corrected, the best way to preserve your finish is with a ceramic coating or consistent wax protection, both of which help maintain that freshly polished look for years to come.

What's the process?

Step 1

Every paint correction begins with a thorough wash and deep clean. We remove bugs, road film, and buildup from every surface — including door jambs, wheel faces, barrels, and wheel wells — ensuring a perfectly clean foundation for the correction process.

Step 3

A Stage 1 compound polish is carefully applied to cut and level the clear coat, effectively removing swirl marks, haze, water spots, and light surface scratches. This step restores depth and clarity to the paint, revealing a smooth, refined surface ready for final polishing and protection.

Step 2

Next, we remove embedded contaminants using specialized iron removers and a fine-grade clay bar treatment. This process eliminates unseen particles and ensures a perfectly smooth, clean surface — creating the ideal foundation for precise paint correction and a flawless finish.

Step 4

A Stage 2 finishing polish is performed to refine any minor holograms or micro-abrasions left from the initial compounding stage, enhancing gloss and clarity to a flawless finish. From here, your vehicle is ready for long-term protection with either a premium wax or a professional ceramic coating application.
